With 7 en-suite bedrooms Ajabu House can accommodate large families, groups of friends or groups of work colleagues.
The Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is a large and spacious en-suite with an antique bath and magnificent views over Lake Naivasha where the Gilgil and Malewa Rivers meet, framed by the Aberdare Mountain Range and Mount Longonot. This room can also serve as a family space, with a connecting door to the Bird Room, and includes a double sofa bed that is perfect for small children.
The Bird Room
This double/twin room has its own en-suite bathroom and an additional small sofa bed, making it ideal for two adults and a child, or for three children. The hand-painted birds on the wall give the room a distinctive charm and sense of history. Created over 60 years ago by a family friend, the paintings were once used to teach the children about East African birdlife, and today they remain a unique feature that adds both character and a touch of nostalgia to the space.
Siriane
‘Siriane’ means peace, and that is exactly what you will find in this guesthouse nestled among the fig trees. Originally built in the mid-1930s by Italian Prisoners of War, it has been converted to provide welcoming holiday accommodation with two spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. One room is a double, while the other can be arranged as either a double or twin. Both enjoy views across the lake and its unique delta, with Mount Longonot rising dramatically in the distance.
The Muse
Beautifully converted in 2014 to provide flexible accommodation with three bedrooms.
The family unit includes a parent’s section with a double bed and an adjoining children’s section with a queen bed and a bunk, sharing a family bathroom. The third bedroom, known as the Red Room, can be set up as either a double or twin and has its own en-suite bathroom.
